Who are your Friends?

Did you know that we will never grow beyond the 5 people who are closest to us? Who are your 5 closest friends? In Proverbs 27:17 it says that iron sharpens iron. However, if we are with sticks and straw we will become dull over time and eventually fall short of our purpose. We understand this Scripture, so we connect iron people to iron people.

We believe that friendships occur in a loop, not in a church seat. We encounter God in our church seat, we relate to each other when we get in the loop. Many of our friends may not come to church with you next Sunday, but they might love to join the loop. We believe the loop is crucial for spiritual growth and for those just beginning to be interested in the things of God. We believe that iron will sharpen iron this summer. Are you in the loop?

What is The Loop?

The Loop represents the Circle City, Indianapolis IN. The loop (465) goes all over the city. There are many loops withing the Loop. Every 4 weeks there will be different loops to join, with different themes, places and times. Each loop meets once a week. You can "get in a loop" by signing up at a church service or joining online by CLICKING HERE. Each group has a leader that starts that loop. Each loop is 6-8 people. Why only 6-8 people? We know that once a group reaches 12 people the friendships become less intimate and the sharpening will not be as effective. A loop can be revolved around prayer, a book or basketball. It doesn't matter what the loop revolves around as long as the leader engages the loop with one question at the beginning of each session. The question, "What did you get out of last Sunday's message?" This keeps the loop centered around Turning Point Ministries and allows for non church goers to hear a little about the teaching from Pastor David Natali.

Can I be a Leader in The Loop?

Yes! Two weeks before the start of the new loops we have a sign-up sheet for those wanting to be a leader. Or CLICK HERE to sign up to lead a loop! Once you sign up, someone will contact you and let you know when the next "Loop Leadership Training Class" will be. Once you attend the class and are granted permission to lead, we will help you set up your loop and post it on the website.

Are you in The Loop?

Speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you're already doing this; just kep doing it.
